FAQ

What's a Yard?

A small pop-up hackathon. A model and theme drop, a capped group builds for a weekend, everyone ships. That's the whole thing.

How many people get in?

Depends on the Yard — somewhere between 20 and 100. Small on purpose, so every build gets eyes on it.

Does it cost anything?

No. Never will.

Can I use any AI model?

Each Yard names its model — that's part of the theme. Everyone builds with the same one, so it's about what you make, not what you pay for.

Teams?

Not in v1. Solo builders only. You'd be surprised what one person ships in 48 hours.

What do winners get?

A winner badge on your profile, a spot in the winners grid, and a featured writeup. Bragging rights included.
